Seeking a Procurement Officer with 4 years experience using SAP or similar related financial systems working in Government Procurement.

The Department has a requirement for APS5/6 equivalent Procurement officer.
\n
The task will include (but not limited to):
\n
- \n
- Monitoring and managing procurement activities including providing advice and support for labour hire procurement. \n
- Assist in the preparation of procurement approval documentation including Approvals to Approach the Market, Evaluation Outcomes, Approvals to commit funds and enter into Arrangements. \n
- Strong knowledge in administering tender documentation through Aus Tender. \n
- Corporate document management and filing. \n
- Mailbox management. \n
- Responsible for managing a range of contracts, maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers. \n
- Monitoring contracts and managing extension or renewal of contracts and contract close-out. \n
- Creating and managing supplier contracts and purchase orders within SAP ensuring compliance with finance policy. \n
- Maintaining contractor access to time sheeting portal and end of month processing. \n
- Manage work in Our Security and ensure timely and accurate records are held in Our Security database. \n
- Problem-solving contract-related issues. \n
- Administer contracts, outline agreements and purchase orders in SAP. \n
- Provide policy advice in relation to compliance with relevant Australian Government legislation, rules and policies relating to contract management and procurement activities. \n
- Preparation and ongoing management of Government contracts. \n
- Enter, reconcile and maintain invoice and payment records in SAP. \n
- Undertake financial administration and reporting. \n
- All tasks are to be performed with minimal direction and will require a high level of initiative to achieve the required outcomes. \n
- Other duties as required. \n

Capabilities Skills and Experience
\n
- \n
- Four years' experience working within Government Procurement. \n
- Thorough understanding of the PGPA Act for complex procurements. \n
- Contract management experience, with knowledge of CCS. \n
- Experience providing oversight of public sector procurement activities. \n
- Ability to undertake analysis of suppliers, markets, products and service categories to inform procurement planning. \n
- Assist in the administration of tender evaluation reports for consideration and approval. \n
- Ability to assist in the oversight of contracts administration activities and monitoring of contract management plans. \n
- Experience using SAP or similar related financial systems. \n
