• Salary: 41.58 AUD base per hour + super

About The Role

As a New Graduate Midwife, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and confidence while providing safe, respectful and woman-centred care throughout the maternity journey.

You will be supported to develop your skills across areas including:

• Antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• Supporting women during labour and birth
• Maternal and newborn assessment and ongoing care
• Recognition and escalation of clinical concerns
• Supporting breastfeeding and early parenting
• Documentation and clinical handover
• Working collaboratively with obstetric, neonatal and multidisciplinary teams
• Promoting respectful, culturally safe and individualised maternity care

About You

We are looking for a new graduate who is:

• Eligible for registration as a Registered Midwife with Ahpra
• Passionate about providing safe, respectful and woman-centred care
• Enthusiastic about learning and developing clinical skills
• A strong communicator and team player
• Able to work effectively in a busy maternity environment
• Committed to professional development and reflective practice
• Compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental
• Willing to ask questions, seek support and take opportunities to learn
