The Role
Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site Mechanical engineering support to project delivery teams
- Support planning, site coordination, and daily construction activities
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Support subcontractor management and contribute to safety, environmental and quality outcomes
About You
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and develop your career within a supportive and high-performing team.
You will bring:
- Degree qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
- 1-2+ years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure or a project environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Highly regarded:
- Previous site-based engineering experience
- Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure works
- Exposure to mechanical installation, piping, pumps or process equipment
