About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Bridge Workers / MR Truck Drivers with plant operation experience to join a field-based maintenance crew in Albion Park Rail. You’ll support the maintenance and repair of timber, steel and concrete bridges while operating MR trucks, plant and equipment as required.

• Position: Bridge Worker/MR Truck Driver
• Pay Rate: $48.94 per hour + super
• Location: Albion Park Rail, NSW
• Anticipated Duration: 12 October 2026 - 24 December 2026
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work Arrangement: Depot and field based - occasional night work may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and minor repair works on timber, steel and concrete bridges
• Operate MR tipping trucks to transport materials, tools and equipment between worksites
• Safely operate plant, machinery, powered tools and other construction equipment
• Perform general and advanced civil labouring across bridge and infrastructure maintenance works
• Assist tradespeople with concreting, steelwork, timber repairs and other structural maintenance activities
• Load, secure and unload construction materials and equipment safely
• Conduct daily vehicle and plant pre-start inspections and report faults or maintenance issues
• Follow WHS, environmental, traffic management and site safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with field crews and participate in occasional night works as required

About You

We’re looking for reliable, safety-focused workers with practical experience in bridge maintenance, civil construction or similar infrastructure works.

• Previous bridge, civil construction or infrastructure maintenance experience
• Current MR Driver Licence or higher
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Current WOF ticket
• Experience operating construction plant and equipment
• MR tipping truck experience highly regarded
• Physically capable of undertaking hands-on labouring duties
• Willingness to work occasional night shifts
• Additional civil construction or plant tickets are advantageous
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or suitable long-term visa holder with valid Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available
