Greencross Vets Coburg is looking for an experienced Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive team on a part-time basis working approximately 3 shifts per week with the potential for additional hours as the clinic continues to grow.

Our team consists of:
- 4 Veterinarians
- 4 Veterinary Nurses

About the Role
This is a part-time opportunity working approximately 3 shifts per week with the possibility of additional hours in the future.
Youll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping support the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations procedures and treatments
- Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
- Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
- Medical nursing and hospital patient care
- Pathology collection and diagnostic testing
- Administering medications and treatments
- Dental nursing assistance
- Supporting nursing workflows and daily clinic operations
- Providing exceptional client service and communication
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced nurses where appropriate
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse who enjoys both hands-on nursing and contributing positively to team culture.
About You
Were looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Has strong clinical nursing skills and confidence across medical and surgical cases

- Has excellent anaesthetic monitoring skills
- Communicates confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues
