Allcott Hire, a leading equipment hire company, is seeking a motivated and reliable Yardperson to join our team in Seven Hills, NSW. As a Yardperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, focusing on the efficient storage, maintenance and distribution of our diverse range of equipment. This full-time position is an integral part of our business, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, storing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment in the yard
• Preparing and loading equipment for customer deliveries and collections
• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of the yard
• Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a forklift licence and experience operating a forklift would be highly advantageous
