MC Tug Driver | AM Shift | Sydney

Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Tug Driver / Yard Operator to join our Sydney operations team. Working closely with our Fleet Controllers and Operations team, you'll play a key role in safely positioning trailers, supporting freight movements and helping keep our depot operating efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n
• Moving trailers in and out of loading and unloading areas using a tug
\n
• Coordinating trailer movements with Fleet Controllers and Operations
\n
• Operating a forklift to load, unload and stage freight
\n
• Assisting with trailer preparation, load restraint, straps, gates and curtains
\n
• Supporting yard and operational activities as required
\n
• Occasionally relocating trailers and equipment around the depot
\n
• Following all safety and compliance procedures
\n

What You'll Need

\n

\n
• Current MC Licence
\n
• Current LF Forklift Licence
\n
• Previous transport yard or operational experience
\n
• Tug driving experience advantageous but not essential
\n
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
\n
• Reliable attitude and ability to work within a team
\n
• Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen and criminal history check
\n
