Biggin & Scott North is seeking an experienced, motivated and highly organised Property Manager to join our growing team.

\n

This role is ideal for a confident real estate professional with at least two years of property management experience who is committed to delivering excellent service to landlords and renters. You will be responsible for managing a residential portfolio, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring all properties are managed efficiently and in accordance with Victorian legislation.

\n

The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage all aspects of a residential property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities \n

  • Manage a residential property portfolio efficiently and professionally
    • \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and renters
    • \n
  • Coordinate new tenancies, lease renewals, rent reviews and vacating processes
    • \n
  • Monitor rental arrears and take appropriate follow-up action
    • \n
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with landlords, renters and contractors
    • \n
  • Conduct or oversee routine inspections, entry condition reports and final inspections
    • \n
  • Ensure property compliance requirements and records remain current
    • \n
  • Respond to landlord and renter enquiries promptly and professionally
    • \n
  • Handle complaints, disputes and complex property management matters
    • \n
  • Prepare notices, applications and supporting documentation when required
    • \n
  • Attend VCAT hearings where necessary
    • \n
  • Provide landlords with regular updates regarding their properties and tenancies
    • \n
  • Ensure all property management activities comply with Victorian legislation and internal procedures
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all tasks within required timeframes
    • \n
  • Work collaboratively with the leasing, administration and sales teams
    • \n
  • Assist with onboarding new managements and properties when required
    • \n

About You \n

    \n
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in property management
    • \n
  • Experience managing a residential property portfolio
    • \n
  • A strong understanding of the Victorian residential rental market and relevant legislation
    • \n
  • Sound knowledge of arrears management, inspections, maintenance, compliance and VCAT processes
    • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
    • \n
  • Strong organisational, time-management and problem-solving abilities
    • \n
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
    • \n
  • A professional, self-motivated and accountable approach
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills
    • \n
  • Confidence using property management software and CRM systems
    • \n
  • A current Victorian driver licence and reliable vehicle
    • \n
