We're looking for a Graduate Engineer who is curious, motivated, and ready to learn. How you’ll make a difference:

As a Graduate Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience while being supported by experienced mentors and a collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Work on nationally significant transportation and infrastructure projects, helping to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing systems.
• Learn from experienced engineers and specialists across Systems Engineering, Human Factors, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), and Safety Assurance disciplines.
• Develop practical skills in hazard identification, risk assessment, requirements management, and systems assurance.
• Contribute to solving real-world engineering challenges that improve safety, performance, and user experience.
• Support the development of key project deliverables, including safety documentation, hazard logs, human factors registers, and system safety risk registers.
• Participate in reliability and safety analyses that help reduce human error and enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build valuable professional relationships across engineering, operations, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or have completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering.
• Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
• Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia before applying.
