Senior Project Engineer – Water Infrastructure

Tallai is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major water treatment project based in Jindabyne.
\n
This role requires a strong civil construction background, ideally gained across water, wastewater or major infrastructure projects. We are specifically looking for civil engineering experience rather than a mechanical background.

The Role

- \n
- Support the delivery of civil works across the project \n
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities \n
- Coordinate construction programs, procurement and project documentation \n
- Monitor project costs, progress, quality and safety \n
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements \n
- Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, client and key stakeholders \n
- Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues \n
- Support the successful delivery of the project through to completion \n

About You
\n
- \n
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering \n
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer \n
- Strong civil construction background \n
- Water or wastewater infrastructure experience is highly regarded \n
- Experience delivering concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civil works \n
- Strong commercial, planning and subcontractor management skills \n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability \n
- Australian working rights \n
