Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our clients as a Marketing Specialist in Tweed Heads, Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Regions. As a Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for advertising strategies and campaigns, determining the market for new goods and services and identifying and developing market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate content and formulate design concepts based on audience research and target markets of the business.
  • Create cohesive designs reflecting the marketing direction and brand alignment.
  • Develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements social media, menus, weekly/ monthly specials.
  • Maintain social media presence across multiple platforms - Facebook, Instagram, websites.
  • Develop branding and communications procedures and style guide in coordination with communications strategy.
  • Advising executives and clients on advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting the attributes of goods and services
  • Ensure effective communications with target audiences are implemented using latest design and branding solutions.
  • Responsible for overall content generation in accordance with the business’ marketing strategies

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or a related field
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and website management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to track and measure campaign performance
  • At least 1 year full time working experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a hotel/pub environment.
  • Familiarity with event management software.
  • Hold industry recognised qualifications and certificates
