About the position \n

Council’s City Works teamis looking for a Drainage and Sweeper Operator to help maintain and enhanceCouncil’s infrastructure and assets across the Frankston municipality by carrying out civil maintenance, cleaning and operational tasks in line with works programs and safety requirements.

\n

The main responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Support civil infrastructure maintenance tasks in accordance with all works programs
\n
• Safe operation of Councils Street sweeping trucks and equipment
\n
• Ensuring all tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained in a safe operational condition and all hazards/defects are reported to the Team Leader
\n
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks as required by the Team Leader
\n

\n

This is a permanent full time role, working 38 hours per week.

About you \n

\n
• Current Driver Licence / Medium Ridged truck
\n
• Construction or trades related industry experience with Street Sweeping operating
\n
• Industry experience in road sweeping operating maintenance
\n
• Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance and
\n
• An understanding of safe work practices
\n

This position is a Band 3Acurrently remunerated at $69,665.28 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
