Production Operators & Forklift Drivers - Day & Rotating Shifts

AWX is currently seeking reliable, safety-focused Production Operators and Forklift Drivers to join a leading food and beverage manufacturing site producing juice and cordial products.
$34.94-$48.46 per hour - Temp-to-Perm Opportunities - Day & Rotating Shifts
We have multiple opportunities available across day shift and rotating afternoon/night shifts, with roles in Forklift Operations, Packaging, Pump Room and Mixing.
These positions offer consistent Monday-to-Friday work, weekly rosters, weekly pay, excellent earning potential once trained and signed off, and temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates.

What's on Offer
Day Shift
• Monday to Friday
• 5:45AM - 2:30PM
• Training/base rate: $34.94 per hour
• Once trained and signed off: $39.15 - $42.14 per hour, depending on area/role
Rotating Afternoon & Night Shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotates between afternoon and night shift every 3 weeks
• Afternoon: 2:15PM - 10:15PM
• Night: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Training/base rate: $40.18 per hour
• Once trained and signed off: $45.02 - $48.46 per hour, depending on area/role

The Roles
Depending on your experience and the position you are selected for, your duties may include:

Forklift Operator
• Operating forklifts safely within a busy manufacturing environment
• Moving raw materials and finished products
• Loading, unloading and general material movement
• Supporting production and warehouse operations as required
• Following all site safety and food manufacturing procedures

Packaging Operator
• Operating and monitoring packaging equipment
• Packing and preparing finished juice and cordial products
• Completing quality checks
• Replenishing packaging materials
• General production and manual handling duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Pump Room Operator
• Supporting the movement and transfer of liquid products throughout the production process
• Operating and monitoring pumps and associated equipment
• Following production procedures and quality requirements
• Completing cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Maintaining high food safety and workplace safety standards

Mixing Operator
• Preparing and mixing products according to production requirements
• Measuring and handling ingredients
• Operating and monitoring mixing equipment
• Completing production and quality documentation
• Following strict food safety, hygiene and safety procedures

About You
We're looking for reliable team members who are comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG experience
• A strong commitment to workplace and food safety
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to perform repetitive and manual handling tasks
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transport and the ability to attend rostered shifts
• Current LF Forklift Licence for Forklift Operator positions
• Availability to work the required shift pattern for the position you apply for
Previous food or beverage manufacturing experience will be highly regarded; however, candidates with transferable manufacturing or production experience are encouraged to apply.
