An exciting opportunity exists for a Psychologist to join the Bathurst Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), providing assessment, intervention and support to young people and their families within a community mental health setting.

\n

The Bathurst CAMHS team is a multidisciplinary service comprising professionals from psychology, nursing, social work and psychiatry backgrounds, with additional support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines. The team is committed to delivering high-quality care and is known for its collaborative, supportive and flexible workplace culture.

\n

Working directly with young people and their families, the successful applicant will be required to conduct mental health assessments, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and contribute to care planning to support positive mental health outcomes.

\n

The successful applicant will work closely with the Team Leader, Clinical Leader and wider multidisciplinary team, while also benefiting from dedicated clinical supervision and professional mentoring. A comprehensive clinical and operational orientation program will support your transition into the role, along with an individualised professional development pathway designed to build core CAMHS skills and support your ongoing professional interests and career growth.
