Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service - Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is looking for an organised, motivated, and people-focused Administration Team Leader to lead our Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.

About the Role \n

This is an Aboriginal Identified Position, with Aboriginality being a genuine occupational requirement under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, the Administration Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.

\n

You will provide frontline leadership, coordinate workflows and rosters, oversee transport services, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Lead and support the Administration/Reception, Transport and Cleaning Teams.
\n
• Coordinate daily operations, staffing, and service delivery.
\n
• Oversee reception, administration, and transport services.
\n
• Ensure high-quality customer service and a culturally safe environment.
\n
• Monitor compliance, records, and operational processes.
\n
• Support reporting, continuous improvement, and team performance.
\n

• Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative leadership or senior administration role.
\n
• Experience supervising, coordinating, or mentoring staff.
\n
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
\n
• Sound understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and record management requirements.
\n
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
\n
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
\n
• Current National Police Check.
\n
• Knowledge of accreditation and quality improvement processes.
\n
• Experience leading multi-functional teams.
\n
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Experience working in healthcare, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, or community services.
\n
