We are partnering with a highly regarded Brisbane residential builder seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead its estimating function and play a key role in driving commercial performance across the business. The successful candidate will take ownership of the estimating program, manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, oversee pricing and budgeting activities, and mentor a capable estimating team

The Role
- Lead and mentor the estimating team
- Prepare and review take-offs, BOQs and detailed estimates
- Manage and optimise the Databuild pricing database
- Conduct technical plan reviews and cost analysis
- Negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing agreements
- Develop scopes of work and procurement strategies
- Monitor budgets, margins and project profitability
- Provide commercial reporting and recommendations to leadership
- Drive efficiency and process improvements across the estimating function
About You
- Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within construction
- Strong residential construction background
- Advanced Databuild experience is essential
- Proven experience with BOQs, take-offs and budget preparation
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead, coach and develop team members
- Results-driven with exceptional attention to detail
