MarTech Lead

Job Details We are looking for a Marketing Technical Lead to join a leading Australian property and accommodation business, supporting two established brands across their marketing technology, CRM, automation and digital ecosystem. Sitting within the Sales and Marketing function, this role will be the technical go to for the marketing teams, helping improve how leads are captured, nurtured, converted and reported on. You will work across CRM, websites, applications, property management systems, integrations and reporting to create a more connected and scalable marketing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of marketing, tech and data and wants the opportunity to improve systems rather than simply maintain them. What you'll be doing You will work closely with Marketing Managers, Operations, Sales, IT and external technology partners to: Own and optimise CRM configurations supporting lead capture, nurturing and conversion; Build and improve automated customer journeys, follow ups and notifications; Manage integrations between CRM, property management systems, websites and other marketing platforms; Develop dashboards and reporting around marketing performance, lead progression and conversion; Troubleshoot CRM, workflow and integration issues and provide practical solutions; Improve data quality and identify opportunities to automate manual processes; Map and standardise marketing workflows across the business; Develop clear documentation, processes and best practice guides; Work with third party developers and technology vendors on integrations and system enhancements; Train and support marketing and operational teams on CRM functionality and new processes; Explore opportunities to introduce AI powered workflows and automation across the marketing function; and Lead, coach and develop a Technical Marketing Coordinator. What we're looking for You will ideally have 3+ years' experience across MarTech, CRM administration, marketing operations, automation or a similar technical marketing role. You'll also bring: Strong experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Zoho or similar; Hands on experience building workflows, automations, pipelines and lead management processes; Experience with lead capture forms, email automation and system integrations; Strong reporting and dashboard capability; An understanding of APIs, data integrations and troubleshooting; A solid understanding of the full marketing journey from acquisition through to conversion; Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working across both technical and non technical teams; and A curious mindset with an interest in AI, automation and emerging marketing technology. Experience within property, accommodation, real estate or another lead generation focused environment would be highly regarded but isn't essential. Why this role?
