For more than 45 years, OZ Design has been helping Australians create homes they love with beautiful furniture and homewares.

We’re a proudly Australian, second-generation family-owned business with 37 stores across the east coast and now, we’re incredibly excited to be bringing OZ Design to Western Australia .

As we prepare to open our brand-new store in Myaree , we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to join our founding WA team.

\n

This is your opportunity to help launch an established national brand into a brand-new market and play an important role in shaping the culture and success of our first Perth store.

About the Role \n

Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead the Myaree team and create an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

\n

You’ll be hands-on across all areas of the business — selling, coaching, merchandising, customer service and day-to-day store operations, while stepping up to lead the store when the Store Manager is away.

\n

You’ll help:

• Lead, motivate and support a small but high-performing sales team
\n
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences
\n
• Coach team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge and sales performance
\n
• Drive sales and help the store achieve its targets and KPIs
\n
• Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising
\n
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team development
\n
• Take ownership of the store when acting as Manager on Duty
\n
• Help establish the culture and standards of our brand-new Myaree store
\n

• Previous retail leadership, supervisor, senior sales or 2IC experience

• A strong track record in sales and customer service
\n

• A hands‑on leadership style, where you’ll thrive selling alongside your team

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
\n
• Strong organisation and problem‑solving abilities
\n
• The confidence to take responsibility for the store when required
\n
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to see your team succeed

Furniture experience is not required . We provide comprehensive in‑person and online training , giving you the product knowledge, systems and support you need to succeed.
