Step into a Manager role in our Audit & Assurance team in Sydney, where you'll lead complex audits across the Global and Private Market team and play an important role in client service, quality and team growth.

What will your typical day look like?

You'll take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, guiding teams through fieldwork, review and reporting while keeping quality and efficiency on track. That means identifying risks early, making practical decisions as issues arise and ensuring work is delivered in line with Deloitte's methodology and professional standards.

Client relationships will be a big part of the role. As a key point of contact, you'll build trust with stakeholders, keep engagements moving and help create a smooth experience from start to finish. Your ability to balance delivery, communication and judgement will directly shape client outcomes and team performance.

Alongside managing budgets, timelines and day-to-day engagement progress, you'll also help create a strong team environment. Working closely with senior leaders and more junior team members, you'll review work, coach others and contribute to a culture where people are supported to grow while delivering high-quality outcomes.

About the team

Our Global and Private Audit team works with multinational organisations, ASX-listed organisations, large private businesses and high net worth individuals across Australia, delivering audit and assurance services that help clients navigate complexity with confidence. It's a team that offers broad exposure across core financial audit, IPO readiness and M&A advisory, so you'll have the chance to build strong foundations while developing a well-rounded view of the client landscape. You'll also work alongside specialists from across Deloitte, giving you access to different perspectives, deep expertise and meaningful opportunities to grow.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, with current experience at Manager level
• Experience leading audit engagements and managing teams
• A strong understanding of audit methodology, risk and professional standards
• Proven ability to build and manage trusted client relationships
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence reviewing work, giving feedback and developing others
• Commercial awareness across engagement budgets, timelines and delivery
• CA qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification
