Litigation Counsel

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Legal team and are currently looking for a Litigation Counsel to join the team.

In this role, you will help manage VGW’s litigation affairs, providing strategic advice on disputes, managing legal risks, and working closely with internal business stakeholders and external counsel.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and overseeing disputes, arbitration, and litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel and developing litigation strategies
• Providing oversight and advice on customer or contractual disputes, complaints, and information requests
• Delivering commercial legal advice, reviewing agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advising on internal policies and terms of use

What you will bring to the role:

• 6+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) with strong commercial litigation and regulatory experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house team
• Admitted as a lawyer to practise in Australia
• High degree of commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical legal information for a lay audience
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and project management skills
