Internal Audit has a seat at the table at Tabcorp. As Head of Internal Audit, you'll lead the enterprise-wide assurance function and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board Audit Committee to shape how Internal Audit adds value across the organisation. With genuine independence and enterprise-wide influence, you'll bring a clear perspective to the risks, decisions and priorities shaping one of Australia's most recognised entertainment businesses., As Head of Internal Audit, you'll set the direction for the function and ensure the Board and Executive Leadership Team have clear, independent insight into the effectiveness of Tabcorp's risk management, governance and control environment. Specifically, you will:

• Lead and evolve Tabcorp's enterprise-wide Internal Audit function
\n
• Develop and deliver a risk-based annual audit plan for Board approval
\n
• Provide commercially relevant assurance insights to the Board and senior leaders
\n
• Identify emerging risks and ensure audit activity remains aligned to business priorities
\n
• Build trusted relationships across Tabcorp while maintaining independence
\n
• Lead, coach and develop the Internal Audit team and specialist partners
\n

What You'll Bring \n

You’ll be an experienced Internal Audit or assurance leader with the judgement and presence to operate effectively at Board and Executive level. You’ll know when to challenge, when to influence and how to turn complex assurance findings into clear insights that support better decisions.

About the Candidate \n

\n
• Strong experience leading Internal Audit or assurance functions within a complex organisation
\n
• Strong people leadership and capability-building experience
\n
• Confidence engaging with Boards, Committees and Executive Leadership Teams
\n
• Strong knowledge of risk management, governance and control frameworks
\n
• A constructive, pragmatic approach to stakeholder challenge and influence
\n
• Ability to see beyond individual audit findings to broader enterprise implications
\n
• A relevant professional qualification such as CA, CIA or CISA
\n
