At 4WD Supacentre, we’re looking for a commercially minded Product Sales Analyst who can turn sales and product data into clear actions that improve performance.

\n

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will provide visibility across our product categories, analyse performance across channels and identify opportunities to increase sales, revenue and gross profit.

\n

This isn’t just a reporting role. We want someone who can look at the numbers, understand what’s happening, identify why, and recommend what we should do next.

The Role \n

You’ll provide weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis across our product categories, excluding Fridges and 12V, helping the business understand what’s performing, where opportunities exist and where action is required.

\n

Working closely with the CRO, Head of Retail, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Store teams, you’ll use data to influence sales planning, merchandising, promotions, product launches and category performance.

What You’ll Be Doing \n

• Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly category performance reporting.
\n
• Analyse product performance across different sales channels and locations.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, revenue and gross profit.
\n
• Benchmark category and channel performance to identify trends and performance gaps.
\n
• Provide forward-looking category analysis to support financial-year sales planning.
\n
• Support the CRO and Head of Retail with commercial and product performance reporting.
\n
• Develop and automate reporting using existing frameworks to improve national visibility.
\n
• Build projections around sales opportunities, costs and expected commercial outcomes.
\n
• Develop proposals for deals, merchandising initiatives and sales projects.
\n
• Monitor weekly product performance against promotional/deal rotations and marketing objectives.
\n
• Analyse the relationship between store merchandising and sales performance at individual store level.
\n
• Support new product launches in collaboration with Visual Merchandising and Store teams.
\n
• Lead agreed sales projects across selected product categories.
\n
• Track performance against quarterly category objectives and provide monthly updates.
\n
• Support the CRO with ad-hoc commercial projects and analysis.
\n

About You \n

You’ll be commercially curious, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-moving retail environment.

\n

We’re looking for someone with:

\n

• Experience in sales analysis, commercial analysis, product analysis, category analysis or a similar role.
\n
• Strong ability to interpret sales and product data and translate it into practical recommendations.
\n
• Experience analysing revenue, gross profit, product and channel performance.
\n
• Strong reporting, forecasting and commercial modelling capability.
\n
• Experience identifying trends, opportunities and performance gaps from large datasets.
\n
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
\n
• Experience developing or automating reporting and dashboards.
\n
• The ability to communicate insights clearly to senior leaders and operational teams.
\n
• Strong commercial thinking — you don't just report what happened; you recommend what should happen next.
\n
• Retail, e-commerce, consumer products, automotive, 4WD or outdoor industry experience would be highly regarded.
\n
