Commercial Analyst | 6m FTC | Immediate Start

The Role

Based in Chatswood, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a high-performing team and gain exposure to a global business.

Reporting into the commercial finance team, you will play a key role in providing financial analysis and insights to support business performance and decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and analysing monthly financial and management reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Conducting P&L analysis, variance analysis and performance reporting
• Providing meaningful financial insights and commentary to key stakeholders
• Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
• Supporting financial modelling and analysis of business performance
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities and communicating key findings
• Assisting with month-end activities and reporting requirements
• Contributing to process improvement and reporting automation initiatives
• Supporting ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects

About You

We are looking for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working with stakeholders and turning financial data into meaningful insights.

• 2–5 years’ experience in Commercial Analysis, FP&A, Management Accounting or a similar role
• Strong experience across reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• A commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience within a large or complex organisation will be highly regarded
