We are looking for a practical and influential Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our Safe+Healthy team and partner directly with operational leaders across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

This is an opportunity to move beyond administration and become a trusted advisor, helping to shape safety outcomes across retail, warehousing, construction and subsidiary operations throughout Australia. The role supports the implementation of our Safe+Healthy Framework and plays a key role in building capability, managing risk and driving continuous improvement across the business.

About the Role

You will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders providing practical health, safety and wellbeing support that helps teams manage risk and improve performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert advice on WHS legislation, risk management and company standards
• Partnering with operational leaders to improve safety performance and embed the Safe+Healthy Framework
• Leading incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action management
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits and site engagements
• Supporting risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities
• Delivering training, toolbox talks and capability-building initiatives
• Analysing trends and providing practical recommendations to drive continuous improvement
• Supporting construction safety and high-risk work activities where required

About You

You may currently be a:

• Health & Safety Advisor
• WHS Advisor
• Injury Management or Wellbeing Specialist looking to broaden your scope
• Health & Safety Coordinator ready to step into a more autonomous advisory role
• Health professional looking to move into a Health and Safety career

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys working with people and finding practical solutions that improve safety outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Qualifications or certifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
• Experience working in a Work, Health and Safety or Wellbeing role
• Working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
• Experience conducting workplace inspections, investigations and risk assessments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
• A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach

Experience within retail, warehousing, logistics, construction or multi-site operations will be highly regarded.
