About the Role

\n

We are seeking aRegistered Nurseto join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing support, conduct timely patient triage, identify deterioration and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver excellent patient care.

Your Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.
    • \n
  • Assess patients, prioritise care and identify/escalate emergencies or deterioration.
    • \n
  • Deliver hands-on clinical care including wound care, suturing, plastering and assisting with procedures.
    • \n
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in collaboration with patients, families and medical practitioners.
    • \n
  • Support patients with health education and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
    • \n
  • Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
    • \n
  • Adapt confidently to a fast-paced and changing Urgent Care environment.

About You

\n

    \n
  • CurrentAHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
    • \n
  • Minimum3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
    • \n
  • Minimum 3 years' experience inEmergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.
    • \n
  • Previous triage, emergency or remote nursing experience preferred.
    • \n
  • Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills.
    • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to work autonomously, delegate appropriately and work effectively within a team.
    • \n
  • Passion for patient-centred care.
    • \n
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
    • \n
