About the role \n

You will join a professional IT team, working with internal stakeholders, dealerships and external IT teams to keep network services reliable and secure.

\n

This role suits an experienced network support professional or early-career Network Engineer ready to broaden their hands-on skills in an enterprise environment.

\n

Most of the work is day-to-day configuration, troubleshooting and incident resolution across Fortinet firewalls, IPsec VPNs, routing and switching. You will work within established architecture and approved change processes.

Key responsibilities will be: \n

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network devices and connectivity.
\n
• Support Fortinet firewall configuration, approved changes and security improvements.
\n
• Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs, routing and switching.
\n
• Diagnose network incidents and work with internal and external IT teams to resolve issues.
\n
• Update network documentation and implement approved changes.
\n
• Assist with scripting, automation and practical process improvements.
\n

What you'll bring \n

\n
• Practical experience in network support or network engineering in a corporate environment.
\n
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
\n
• Working knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco technologies.
\n
• Experience supporting IPsec VPNs.
\n
• Sound routing and switching fundamentals.
\n
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
\n
• Exposure to scripting or automation is useful, not essential.
\n
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or a Fortinet certification are advantageous, not essential.
\n
• A current driver's licence is advantageous.
\n
