Job description

At Blue Light Card, our mission is to support and celebrate those who serve communities with unwavering dedication - from emergency services to healthcare, defence, and education sectors. By offering exclusive benefits and discounts through partnerships with top brands, we aim to make a meaningful impact on their everyday lives.

Founded in the UK in 2008, we now have more than 6 million members globally. We launched in Australia in 2022 with the same commitment to supporting those who serve. This is an opportunity to be part of a team driving the next chapter of Blue Light Card’s journey, blending purpose with measurable commercial success.

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to own a portfolio of partner accounts (everything from The Iconic, Samsung, Breville, Woolworths & Yo-Chi) to drive renewals, growth and Retail Media revenue, while building the kind of relationships that keep them investing in us for the long run.

What you'll do

  • Own revenue and KPI targets across your portfolio of partner accounts, managing renewals and post-acquisition growth
  • Build strong relationships with partner stakeholders and affiliates, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen retention across the wider team
  • Pitch and close Retail Media sales opportunities with confidence
  • Keep partner offers sharp and relevant, evolving them as member needs change
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver on commercial objectives, resolve issues and support campaign execution
  • Be in the data: you'll keep account information and agreements accurate and up to date
  • Track account performance, report on KPIs and use the data to spot what's working and what needs to change

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years' experience in an Account Management, Partner, or similar relationship driven role from a retail, loyalty, marketplace, affiliate, or similar background
  • A track record of building relationships and growing accounts commercially
  • Success negotiating and landing commercial contracts
  • You're comfortable with data: you can draw out trends and insights to shape new initiatives
  • A growth mindset - you move at pace and hold yourself to hitting (or beating) targets
  • A genuine collaborator who works well across teams and values getting there together
  • QSR or travel experience would be a huge plus

What's on offer

  • 24 days annual leave + your birthday off, moments that matter leave & volunteer leave
  • $1,000 health insurance contribution + $1,000 personal development fund
  • Paid parental leave, an EAP, and your own Blue Light Card
  • Hybrid working — 3 days in our Sydney CBD office, 2 from home

If you want to own how a growing member platform shows up online - and help Australia’s essential workers make their money go further - we’d love to hear from you.
