Shred-X Australia, part of the Freightways Ltd group, is a fast-paced, rapidly expanding leader in secure destruction and recycling solutions. We are seeking motivated and safety-focusedMorning Shift Factory Sorters starting off as casual with the potential for full-time employment, to join our Banyo branch to contribute to the smooth operation of our recycling facility.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables
\n
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards
\n
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads
\n
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment
\n
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets, bins, and containers
\n
• Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements
\n
• Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors
\n

\n

What You Bring

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
\n
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
\n
• Positive, proactive attitude and team-player mindset
\n
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
