Software Engineer -.Net, AWS, REST API

A great opportunity has opened for a Software Engineer to join a product engineering team working on technology within the trading space.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll be involved across the software lifecycle, from building and improving functionality through to deployment, production support and ongoing optimisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Build and maintain high-quality backend software using C# and .NET Core
• Develop and integrate REST APIs
• Work with AWS to build and support cloud-based solutions
• Contribute to automated testing and TDD
• Support software running in production and troubleshoot issues
• Use observability tools to identify problems and help prevent them recurring
• Contribute to CI/CD and continuous delivery practices
• Work collaboratively within an Agile engineering team
• Participate in solution design, code reviews and continuous improvement
• Apply clean code and sound software engineering principles

What we’re looking for

• Commercial experience with C# / .NET Core
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience with automated testing and/or TDD
• Understanding of CI/CD and continuous delivery
• Experience supporting production software
• Strong Agile and collaborative working experience
• A focus on writing clean, maintainable and reliable code
• A proactive approach to problem solving and ownership
• Terraform
• Python
• Build pipelines
• PostgreSQL or DynamoDB
