Develop and customise Salesforce solutions using various technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

About the Role \n

This role is to develop and customise Salesforce solutions using various technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

\n

The role will also take part in requirements gathering workshops, estimation, addressing the agile product backlog through development sprints and delivery and maintenance of technical documentation.

\n

In this role, you will also contribute to support applications built on the Salesforce platform.

\n

Key Responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Designing and developing Salesforce solutions from inception to ready for business use in production.
\n
• Uholding architecture, design and implementation principles including configuration management and coding practices.
\n
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers and functional analysts on functional and technical requirements.
\n
• Providing estimates for the scope of work, discussing options and recommending solutions.
\n
• Reviewing code and run initiatives to improve the overall health of the platform.
\n
• Reviewing Salesforce seasonal releases and identify new features that can be enabled for the business.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience \n

• Essential : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
\n
• Desirable: 3+ years' experience as a Salesforce developer
\n
• Essential : Salesforce Platform Developer Certification
\n
• Desirable: Salesforce Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Public Sector Solutions and Omnistudio experience
\n

The Information Management and Technology Division guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base o f approximately 750,000 staff and students.

IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

\n
