Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with anaesthetic nursing experience, to join a private day surgery team in Perth on a permanent part-time basis.
About the Facility
This established private day surgery offers a fast-paced perioperative environment across a range of specialties, including dental and oral/maxillofacial surgery, dermatology/Mohs surgery, plastics, IVF and ophthalmology.
The Role
This permanent part-time anaesthetic nursing position requires a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight. The roster runs Monday to Friday, with no on-call shifts or public holidays, and occasional optional weekend work.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based, safe and high-quality perioperative care.
- Prepare equipment and the clinical environment for safe and efficient surgery.
- Maintain clear team communication and monitor patient safety throughout the surgical journey.
- Provide patients with clear education and guidance for recovery at home.
- Support colleagues on shift and contribute to a safe, collaborative team environment.
- Promote continuous improvement and clinical safety across the facility.
What You Will Bring
- Solid experience in anaesthetic nursing within a surgical hospital setting.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Strong time management, organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors and colleagues.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Experience across the facility's specialties, and in a fast-paced day or short-stay hospital environment, will be highly regarded.
