THE OPPORTUNITY \n

This role supports the delivery of environmental, health & safety (EH&S) and sustainability programs across DePuy Synthes sites in Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on office, facilities, and corporate operations environments. The Office/Delivery Specialist partners with local and regional stakeholders to help implement sustainability initiatives, track EH&S performance, and ensure alignment with corporate standards and local regulations. Responsibilities \n

\n
• Support day‑to‑day delivery of EHS and sustainability services across assigned facilities, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.
\n
• Complete and submit Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Lead EHSS compliance activities such as documentation, reporting, audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
\n
• Coordinates facilities, equipment, and operations inspections to identify and evaluate risk factors and eliminate potential hazards and/or hazardous processes. Administers EHSS-based education programs, from employee safety training programs to site-specific certification courses.
\n
• Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and records related to facilities operations, sustainability metrics, and EHSS programs.
\n
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Facilities, EH&S, Sustainability, and Corporate Operations teams) to support initiatives and resolve operational issues.
\n
• Support sustainability and environmental programs, including waste, energy, and resource management activities.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending practical solutions.

Required ABOUT YOU \n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field
\n
• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant EHSS experience or related field.
\n
• Experience with EHSS regulations, sustainability programs, or environmental reporting.
\n
• Experience supporting administrative, operational, or service delivery activities in a corporate environment.
\n
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
\n
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).
\n
• Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
\n

Desirable \n

• Additional coursework or certification in EH&S or sustainability
\n
• Experience working in facilities management, EH&S, sustainability, or corporate operations environments.
\n
• Experience coordinating with vendors or service providers.
\n
• Experience leading audits, inspections, or compliance‑related activities.
\n
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.
\n
• Familiarity with environmental or workplace safety regulations in Australia and/or New Zealand.
