About this Position \n

Based in Chullora, this role is responsible for managing and growing customer relationships within a designated, driving sales performance and delivering excellent service outcomes. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs, present products effectively, and identify new business opportunities.

Candidates with a chef background or strong food industry experience are highly regarded, bringing valuable functional product knowledge and credibility when engaging with customers. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive business with a strong market presence and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Manage and grow sales and margin performance across an assigned territory, in line with budget targets
\n
• Develop strong customer relationships, protecting base business while driving basket growth and retention
\n
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through effective planning and targeted sales activity
\n
• Promote and sell the full foodservice product range, supported by supplier partnerships and promotional programs
\n
• Use sales data and insights to plan activity, optimise margins, and support continuous improvement with customers
\n

What We’re Looking For \n

• Sales, chefs and foodservice experience highly desirable
\n
• Highly organised, self-starter, and go-getter attitude
\n
• Prioritise and self-manage a territory effectively
\n
• Knowledge of the territory and local area, ideally living close by
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
\n
• Commercially astute, with a focus on sales growth, growing the basket, margin optimisation and results
\n
• Willing to be available during peak periods (e.g. summer and the festive seasons)
\n
• Confident using digital tools, tablets/laptops and Microsoft Office (training provided)
\n
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety and compliance
\n
