About The Role \n

As a Fire Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring life safety systems operate reliably and remain compliant with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.

\n

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, fault-finding and commissioning of a broad range of fire systems across metropolitan Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Service, maintain and test fire detection and alarm systems
\n
• Fault find and repair fire protection systems
\n
• Install and commission fire panels and associated equipment
\n
• Conduct emergency warning and intercom system (EWIS) testing
\n
• Complete electronic service reports and compliance documentation
\n
• Ensure all works are performed safely and in accordance with relevant standards
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
\n
• Participate in on-call rosters when required
\n

What We're Looking For Essential \n

\n
• A Grade Victorian Electrical Licence
\n
• Proven experience working with fire detection systems
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance
\n

Highly Regarded \n

\n
• Experience with Notifier, Honeywell, Tyco, Ampac, Pertronic, Simplex or equivalent systems
\n
• Fire Systems Accreditation Scheme (FSAS) qualifications
\n
• EWIS experience
\n
• Construction White Card
\n
• Experience in commercial or critical infrastructure environments
\n
