WHSmith are looking for a Buyer's Assistant to support our Buying team in our Sydney Support Office.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

    \n
  • Managing item creation and maintenance.
    • \n
  • Ensuring price accuracy in merchandise systems.
    • \n
  • Accurately updating item details for promotional programs.
    • \n
  • Creating and maintaining line sheets for distribution to the relevant team, with correct images and information.
    • \n
  • Managing communication with buyers and suppliers regarding delivery timelines, changes in delivery methods etc.
    • \n
  • Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure cohesive operations.
    • \n

What We're Looking For

    \n
  • Highly organised.
    • \n
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to prioritise with good time management skills.
    • \n
  • Previous exposure to a retail business is ideal.
    • \n
  • Strong communication skills and excellent time management.
    • \n
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
    • \n
