We're looking for an experiencedand commercially minded Centre Manager to lead the ongoing success of thisvibrant precinct. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a landmark asset,influence its future direction and create an environment where retailers,customers and the local community thrive.

• Proven experience managing retail,mixed-use or commercial property assets.
\n
• A strong understanding of thedrivers of retailer performance, customer experience and asset value.
\n
• Demonstrated leadershipcapability, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture ofaccountability, collaboration and service excellence.
\n
• Exceptional stakeholder managementand communication skills, with experience engaging owners, retailers,contractors and service providers.
\n
• A proactive, solutions-focusedapproach and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
\n
• Experience managing operatingbudgets, forecasting, capital expenditure and financial performance.
\n
• Strong knowledge of facilitiesmanagement, risk management, compliance and governance requirements.
\n
• A hands‐on leadership style thatremains connected to day‐to‐day operations while maintaining focus on strategicobjectives

About the Role :

\n

As Centre Manager, you will leadthe day‐to‐day operations of The Barracks, ensuring the precinct deliversoutstanding commercial, operational and customer outcomes. You will be responsible for allaspects of centre performance, including operations, facilities management,retailer engagement, budgeting, capital works, compliance and customerexperience initiatives. This is a hands‐on leadership role that requires a strongcommercial mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion forcreating exceptional places.

Working closely with retailers,service providers, contractors, customers and key stakeholders, you will play acritical role in maintaining The Barracks as a destination of choice withinBrisbane's inner city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset and Operational Leadership
\n
• Lead the day‐to‐day management ofThe Barracks, delivering exceptional operational, commercial and customeroutcomes.
\n
• Ensure the precinct is safe,compliant, well‐presented and operating efficiently at all times.
\n
• Oversee facilities management,maintenance programs, essential services and contractor performance.
\n
• Maintain compliance with allstatutory, safety, risk management and governance requirements.
\n
• Commercial Performance
\n
• Prepare and manage annualoperating budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure plans.
\n
• Monitor financial performance andimplement initiatives that drive value and cost efficiencies.
\n
• Analyse centre performance data,retailer sales, occupancy trends and customer insights to identifyopportunities for improvement.
\n
• Support leasing initiatives andcontribute to strategies that enhance retailer performance and asset value.
\n
• Retailer and StakeholderEngagement
\n
• Build strong relationships withretailers and stakeholders, supporting a collaborative and high‐performingprecinct culture.
\n
• Act as the primary point ofcontact for retailer engagement, issue resolution and operational matters.
\n
• Partner with stakeholders todeliver activations, events and initiatives that enhance the customerexperience and support trading performance.
\n
• Influence outcomes across diversestakeholder groups through proactive communication and relationship management.
\n
• Projects and ContinuousImprovement
\n
• Lead the delivery of capitalworks, upgrades and asset improvement initiatives with minimal disruption toretailers, customers and trade.
\n
• Identify opportunities to enhancecustomer experience, operational efficiency and asset performance.
\n
• Drive continuous improvementinitiatives that strengthen the precinct's position as a destination of choice.
