The Role

Every shipment tells a story of trust, timing, and teamwork. As a Sea Logistics Customer Care Supervisor (ISC), you'll be the conductor of that story, guiding your team to deliver excellence in every interaction. This role isn't just about supervising operations; it's about leading people and shaping experiences. This opportunity is offered as a 12‐month fixed‐term contract, giving you the chance to gain valuable leadership experience while contributing to customer excellence and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer success: Drive engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation in close cooperation with the Operational Care Centre (OCC), destinations, and regional stakeholders.
\n
• Guide the team: Supervise and develop your local ISC Customer Care team, ensuring they deliver consistent excellence across all accounts.
\n
• Shape the journey: Oversee quotations, onboarding, and reporting, ensuring seamless and professional customer touchpoints.
\n
• Solve challenges: Coordinate shipments, align deliverables with partners, and resolve complaints with sustainable solutions.
\n
• Drive improvement: Lead continuous process enhancements to boost service levels, efficiency, and profitability.
\n
• Keep compliance strong: Ensure all activities meet sea transport regulations, finance policies, and company standards.
\n
• Deliver results: Achieve financial targets while balancing customer satisfaction with cost awareness.

Requirements

• Prior experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in international freight forwarding.
\n
• Strong collaboration skills and team‐oriented mindset.
\n
• Expertise in customer management, ensuring engagement and satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle.
\n
• Clear communication skills and customer‐solutions mindset.
\n
• Openness to change and continuous improvement.
\n
• Proactive, solutions‐focused approach with emphasis on optimizing customer experience.
\n
• Minimum 5+ years freight forwarding experience
\n
• Experience managing KPIs and customer portfolios
\n

Previous People Leadership Experience PreferredSea Freight Import/export Knowledge Required
