St Augustine's College provides a robust P-12 Catholic education in the Augustinian tradition. Located in Augustine Heights, we are an inclusive, Catholic College offering a rounded education that supports the growth of each student. Summary

St Augustine's College, Augustine Heights, is seeking a Secondary Teacher in Humanities and the ability to teach Visual Arts and Media for three-weeks during this contract period. • Contract date: Beginning of Term 4 - Until end of 2026 School Year

• Work hours: 30.00 per week
\n
• Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + super (commensurate with experience)
\n
• Status: Full-Time Fixed Term
\n

About The Opportunity

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices

• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
\n
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
\n
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes

• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development

• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

• Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
\n
• Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
\n
• Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students
\n
• A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development
\n
• The ability to teach Religious Education will be highly regarded
\n
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic
\n
