This role, based out of ourBrooklynbranch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptionalcustomer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

  • Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
  • Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
  • Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, excavators, rollers.
  • Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A valid heavy vehicle driver’s license.(EWP over 11m, CN or TV, forklift licences are highly regarded)
  • Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
  • A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety –you are an expert on the chain of responsibility.
  • Adequate technology skills
