1. HVAC Estimator & Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson)
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
Full-time position
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This role involves:
- Analysing and reviewing all project requirements and documents, including associated drawings, specifications, scope of works and the like.
- Coordinating and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Assist in managing the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems. In addition, we will be involved in projects to ensure they meet specifications, deadlines, and budget requirements.
- Collaboration with various (internal and external) teams, including design, construction, and procurement, as well as with clients, contractors and sub-contractors.
DUTIES
Project Estimation
- Provide any necessary support and assistance to the Director, Project Manager/s & estimating team as required;
- Assist in preparing tenders which from time to time involve estimating for design and construct projects and preparing tender documents.
- Conduct research and collate data and write reports according to specifications.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Read, interpret and follow project documentation including, but not limited to drawings and specifications
- Ensure accurate preparation and implementation of all relevant tasks are carried out in accordance with both company and external contract document specifications, drawings, legislation and regulations.
Planning & Design
- Develops and implements various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process
- Develop full scale project plans, as built drawings, coordination drawings, shop drawings and construction schedules.
- Interprets drawings and specifications from consultants, review & identify issues arising / sufficiency of information & resolve accordingly
- Actively consult with engineers and other technical team members to ensure that design intentions are achieved.
- Review, develop and present design proposals to clients as required.
- Responsible for tenders and contract bids, negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Read and maintain an understanding of all associated codes and standards.
Project Delivery
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues or conflicts.
- Assist Management teams with site visits/meetings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes and project specifications.
- Laise with project stakeholders as required to ensure project delivery.
- Maintain document control procedures.

2. Service Co-ordinator / Administrator (General clerk)
Salary: $68,000 to $85,000 per annum
Full-time position
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all phone calls and emails to the service centre are answered expeditiously
- Ensure that all technicians have productive work. Coordinate RDO’s, AL, PL as required
- Despatch and co-ordinate technicians to complete works. Work includes reactive, quoted and maintenance works
- Liaise with Customers and Airmaster Account Managers to provide updates on works in progress
- Liaise with technicians to reduce work in progress and ensure completion on works meets agreed KPI’s
- Apply and support Airmaster and Customer Quality and Occupational Health and Safety initiatives
- Generate client reports and internal reporting as required, to keep all parties informed of progress
- Raise service jobs, purchase orders and follow up with suppliers as required
- Assist with service centre and reception telephone support as required
- Obtain and enter technician/apprentice times each week
- Ensure technician reports and documentation are completed and compliant
- To abide by Airmaster’s Waste Management Policy and promote environmentally friendly practices
- Other duties as may be reasonably assigned by Airmaster Management.

- Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy workshop and worksite;

Summary:
- To repair, service and install refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial applications, and some minor domestic applications
- Problem solving, diagnosis and fault-finding of refrigeration, air-conditioning and associated electrical system issues
- Provide assistance to Contracts Department to complete commercial air-conditioning installation as required.
Duties:
- Carry out periodic service work and repair & maintenance on all types of AC systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair & maintain refrigeration equipment and perform preventive maintenance to increase asset life of any HVAC system.
- Installation of new and repaired components on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Testing and adjustment of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Decommissioning, disposal, replacement and overhaul of AC and HVAC systems and components.
- Perform pre-start checks of plant & equipment.
- Install and commissioning of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Installs components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, copper lines, refrigerant, compressed air, fuel, oil and chilled water.
- Establishes job requirements from drawings & specifications and lays out installation reference points.
- Drills holes, install mounting brackets and cuts, bends and threads piping.
- Bolts, solders, rivets, welds or brazes pipes to connect equipment, and checks alignment and accuracy of fit.
- Fills systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks.
- Remove/test gas or fluid using vacuum pumps and charge with refrigerant compliant to ARCtick requirement.
- Test & operates refrigeration systems, checks mechanisms and makes adjustments.
- Recovery of Refrigerants in line with current ARCtick legislations.
- Checks and overhauls refrigeration systems, diagnoses faults and repairs or replaces defective components.
- Adjusts system controls and mechanisms and reassembles systems.
- Records cause of malfunctioning and action taken, via service vouchers.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and equipment associated with HVAC industry, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Ability to supervise and train trade apprentices. Experience working in high pressure workplaces and to tight deadlines.
- Prepare and complete all paperwork & documentation, timesheets, etc as required by Service Coordinator or other administration staff in a timely manner.

Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 per annum
Full-time position
Duties:
- Study drawing and specification to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, gas, and sanitary fixtures across university buildings and facilities.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults including leaks, blockages, failed fixtures, pumps, valves, and pipework.
- Install and repair copper, PVC, PEX, and other plumbing pipework for potable water, hot water, recycled water, and drainage systems.
- Service and maintain plumbing infrastructure including toilets, taps, urinals, drinking fountains, dishwashers, and hot water systems.

Purpose:
Co Ordinate Warehouse and general operations within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely receipt and delivery of inward and outward goods.
- Pick up or delivery of goods, materials and equipment to clients, project sites, etc
- Assist with the management of technician company vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure that adequate amounts of materials kept in stock are maintained.

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
