- Ensuring the design supports safe, efficient and profitable project delivery \n
Who Are We Looking For? \n
This role would be particularly suitable for someone already working as a Design Coordinator or Assistant Design Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career.
\n
Alternatively, it could be an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Assistant – Part 2, or someone from an architectural background, who is considering a change in career path and would like to move into contractor-side Design Management.
\n
You should have:

- \n
- Experience within construction or architectural design \n
- A good understanding of the design and construction process \n
- Strong coordination and communication skills \n
- The confidence to work with consultants, subcontractors and project teams \n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to design \n
\n
You don’t need to be the finished article. What’s more important is a strong technical grounding, good communication skills and the ambition to develop into a fully-fledged Design Manager.
What’s On Offer? \n
- \n
- Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 \n
- Car allowance \n
- Comprehensive company benefits package \n
- Varied and technically interesting projects \n
- Excellent career progression \n
- The opportunity to develop within an established regional contractor with a strong forward workload \n
