At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavours and the power of food to bring people together. As a Shift Leader at GYG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable dining experiences.
\n
We are looking for people that are available to work between 3-4 shifts a week, with flexible availability including early morning (6am onwards), late night (4pm onwards) and overnights (10pm onwards).
\n
Your Role Will Include
\n
- \n
- Team up with fellow managers to train, lead, coach and inspire your crew while keeping the energy high on every shift \n
- Champion a "customer-first" mindset by delivering standout service to both new faces and regular guests \n
- Maintaining high quality food safety, cash handling, cleaning and stock control \n
- Be a proud ambassador of GYG by making sure all crew members live and breathe our values, policies and procedures \n
- Communicate clearly and confidently with the restaurant team to keep everyone aligned \n
- Be hands-on with managing labour and COGS to help drive a successful, profitable store \n
- Oversee deliveries like a pro, ensuring orders are accurate and match invoices \n

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

- Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment \n
- A track record of providing outstanding customer service \n
- Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate \n
- Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course \n
