• Location: St Bonaventure's College - Flagstone (S)

• Start date: Commencing ASAP
\n
• Work hours: 20 hours/week (There is a potential for Additional hours)
\n
• Shift: (Split shift - 6.30am - 8.30am and 2.15pm - 4.15pm) OR 10 hours/week (Shifts and Days negiotiable)
\n
• Salary: School Service Staff Level 3 Casual Rate - $42.71 - $44.52 per hour+ Split shift allowance + superannuation
\n
• Status: Casual SOF (Until the end of 2026 school year - School holidays unpaid)
\n

About The Opportunity

\n

\n
• Checking student documentation when students enter the bus and assisting those who need help entering or exiting the bus
\n
• Safely drive the bus to pick up and return students to designated stops before and after school, in accordance with an approved route on an approved time schedule
\n
• Driving the bus for school excursions
\n
• Checking the bus tyres, lights, and oil and performing other basic maintenance checks before bus usage
\n
• Reporting behavioural student incidents, traffic incidents, and near misses.
\n
• Standard hours will be 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM and 2.15 PM - 4.15 PM (split shift)
\n

About You

\n

\n
• Previous experience driving children or students, ensuring their safety and well-being, and being able to assist those who need help entering or exiting the bus
\n
• A proven track record of safely operating a bus, preferably driving school buses following designated routes and schedules
\n
• Experience driving buses on school excursions or field trips
\n
• Familiarity with performing basic vehicle checks, ensuring the bus is in good working condition before use
\n
• Incident reporting and communication
\n
• LR/MR Driving Licence
\n
• Must hold a Driver Authorisation from the Department of Transport and Main Roads
\n
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
\n
