About the role

• Resolve and manage end to end customer disputes with AFCA in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
\n
• Conduct detailed investigations, assess evidence, and make sound decisions in line with policy coverage, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Prepare high-quality written responses, submissions, and correspondence for customers, AFCA, and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Act as a trusted dispute resolution specialist, providing technical expertise and guidance across the business.
\n
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to resolve complex issues while advocating for appropriate outcomes.
\n
• Identify complaint trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to strengthen dispute resolution processes and customer outcomes.

About You

\n

\n
• Extensive experience in dispute resolution within General Insurance industry, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
\n
• Proven experience managing customer complaints and disputes, including exposure to AFCA matters.
\n
• Strong technical understanding of general insurance products, claims handling, policy interpretation, and industry regulations.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare responses and confidently engage with customers.
\n
• Strong time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of complex cases.
\n
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
