Risk Officer

Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated risk officer who is passionate about workplace safety and promoting a proactive risk culture.

\n

In this role, you'll support the identification, assessment, and management of risks and opportunities across the organisation, helping to enable informed decision-making. You will work closely with managers and staff to identify and manage risks, improve workplace safety practices, and support the development of a strong and positive safety culture.

\n

• Permanent full time
\n
• Monthly RDO accrual available
\n
• Located at the Port Fairy office with regular travel to other work sites as required.
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• Employee working with children check
\n
• Current Victorian driver licence
\n
• Completed, or be prepared to complete the occupational health and safety five-day training course;
\n
• Completed, or be prepared to complete the RTW Coordinator course (two days)
\n
• Incident Investigation or be prepared to complete an Incident Investigation course (one day)
\n
• Current First Aid Certificate
\n

Key selection criteria 1 \n

High level customer service skills and good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Key selection criteria 2 \n

Excellent Microsoft suite experience

Key selection criteria 3 \n

Proven ability to work generally unsupervised and cooperatively as part of a team.
