This is a senior leadership and delivery role for an accomplished commercial and disputes lawyer who enjoys solving complex problems, managing high-quality work and developing talented lawyers. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional legal services, managing matters and working closely with the firm's partners and broader legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a broad range of commercial matters
\n
• Provide strategic and commercially practical advice to established businesses and business owners
\n
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements
\n
• Supervise, mentor and support lawyers within the team
\n
• Manage workflows and maintain consistently high standards of service
\n
• Work closely with the firm's partners on complex and significant matters
\n
• Help strengthen the team's technical capability, systems and processes
\n
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing clients
\n
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm

About you

• Highly experienced commercial lawyer with the technical ability, commercial judgment and leadership qualities expected at partner level
\n
• Significant experience in commercial and corporate law
\n
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
\n
• Experience managing complex matters with a high degree of autonomy
\n
• The ability to supervise, mentor and develop other lawyers
\n
• A practical and solutions-focused approach
\n
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
\n
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail and commercial awareness
