Sofitel Brisbane Central is looking for an experienced and passionate Reservations Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will lead a talented team of Reservations and Guest Service professionals, driving reservation conversion, revenue performance and exceptional guest experiences from the very first interaction.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded hospitality leader who loves developing people, maximising revenue and delivering service with a genuine touch of luxury.

What you’ll be responsible for \n

\n
• Lead, coach and inspire the Reservations team to achieve exceptional sales and service results.
\n
• Maximise reservation conversion, upselling opportunities and average room rate.
\n
• Ensure every reservation enquiry is handled promptly, accurately and with a personalised luxury approach.
\n
• Manage rates, inventory and distribution across Opera, TARS and GDS.
\n
• Partner closely with the Revenue Manager on pricing, yield management and revenue strategies.
\n
• Ensure VIP, returning and regular guests receive personalised recognition and their preferences are delivered.
\n
• Maintain strong collaboration between Reservations, Front Office, Guest Experience and Sales & Marketing.
\n
• Monitor team performance, service standards and reservation handling times, providing ongoing coaching and development.
\n
• Ensure accurate reservations, guest profiles, room inventory, packages, commissions and reporting.
\n
• Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance both revenue and the guest journey.
\n

Qualifications \n

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years’ experience in hotel reservations or a similar hospitality environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
\n
• Strong knowledge of hotel PMS, reservations and distribution systems, particularly Opera, TARS or similar.
\n
• Understanding of revenue management, yield strategies and room inventory optimisation.
\n
• A confident and inspirational leader who enjoys developing and empowering people.
\n
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Highly organised, commercially focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and exceptional guest service.
\n
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Business or a related discipline are desirable.
\n
