Job Opportunity: Retail Manager (Full-Time)

LDR Petroleum Pty Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at BP Fuel Station, located at 1 Music Street, Carmila, Qld 4739. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who is committed to managing the store efficiently on a long-term basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the fuel station branch and staff to deliver store objectives.
• Create a safe working environment for your team and customers.
• Be responsible for inventory management, stock takes, daily reconciliation, banking and other administrative duties as required.
• Ensure the customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.
• Product selection and setting up prices by implementing competitive purchasing and pricing policies to reduce expenditure and increase sales.
• Markets products by advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyses operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Ensure store operations and retail standards are implemented and maintained.
• Maintains store staff by recruiting, onboarding, orienting, and training new team members.
• Monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the store and of individual staff members to ensure service standards and goals are met.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
• Control costs without compromising standards and customer service.
• Manage new stock deliveries and merchandise the store.
• Ensure occupational health and safety guidelines are always maintained and adhered to by the staff.

Skills and Experience:

• The candidate must have at least one years’ experience in a similar role.
• A minimum Diploma level qualification is required.
• Proven ability to achieve sales, KPI’s & manage stock take.
• A true passion for retail & growing your retail management career
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
