The Yiros Shop is a family-owned, Australian-based fast-food restaurant chain that's redefining the
\n experience of eating Greek-inspired street food. Born from a passion for authentic Greek flavours, our
\n menu is built on the very best fresh ingredients, and a dedication to bringing customers the perfect
\n balance of quality, taste, and tradition.
\n Since our humble beginnings, we've grown to 15 restaurants across Queensland and beyond, making
\n the iconic Greek Yiros experience accessible to more people every day. We believe great food is more

Job Description \n

Ready to step up and lead? If you have leadership experience in fast food or hospitality and love
\n working in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make your mark at one of
\n Queensland's favourite Greek street food brands.

Availability Type: Breakfast/Lunch & Dinner Flexibility / Open Availability

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

    \n
  • Opening and closing the restaurant to a high standard
    • \n
  • Leading and supporting team members including juniors
    • \n
  • Training and developing staff to achieve outstanding results
    • \n
  • Monitoring store performance and meeting KPIs
    • \n
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving concerns professionally
    • \n
  • Food preparation including deep fryer and grill operation
    • \n
  • Cash handling and register operation
    • \n
  • Keeping the restaurant clean and maintaining food safety standards
    • \n

What We're Looking For

\n

    \n
  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or Shift Leader role in fast food or hospitality
    • \n
  • A natural leader who can motivate and support a team
    • \n
  • Great communication skills and a customer-first attitude
    • \n
  • Reliable, organised and able to perform under pressure
    • \n
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and school holidays
    • \n
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene
    • \n
