The Opportunity

ECi Executive is partnering with a select group of established project and custom home builders across Perth who are expanding their estimating and scheduling teams.

We’re looking to speak with experienced Residential Estimators and Schedulers who are considering their next career move.
Opportunities are available across sales estimating, construction estimating, scheduling and combined roles, covering project homes, custom builds and more bespoke residential developments. This gives you the chance to find a role that suits your experience, preferred style of work and longer-term career goals.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on the opportunity, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing accurate sales estimates, construction estimates, quantity take-offs and project costings
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation to ensure all build requirements are captured
• Preparing bills of quantities, purchase orders and material schedules
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
• Pricing client variations, design changes and upgrades, and updating project costings
• Coordinating material orders and deliveries to align with construction schedules
• Liaising with drafting, prestart, administration and site teams to resolve queries and support project delivery
• Maintaining accurate pricing databases, supplier information and estimating or scheduling records
• Identifying discrepancies, cost implications and potential supply issues before they affect construction

About You
We’re interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Previous estimating and/or scheduling experience within residential building
• Experience with project homes, custom builds or both
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials and sequencing
• The ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with quantities, costings and purchase orders
• Confidence using estimating or scheduling software
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and competing deadlines
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
• A proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and keeping jobs progressing
